Bybe, a cashback rebate app for alcohol purchases, faced the challenge of accurately processing hundreds of thousands of shopper receipts to validate purchases and issue rebates. These receipts were often crumpled, faded, or poorly photographed, and came from retailers with no standardized format. To build a seamless user experience, Bybe needed a fast and accurate automated solution, which led them to partner with Veryfi and utilize its Receipt OCR API.

The solution processed 776,014 receipts with a 99.44% accuracy rate and an average processing time of 2.6 seconds, eliminating the need for a manual review queue.
