Treehouse Co-Living, a purpose-built co-living space, wanted to foster a digital community for its residents with a robust property management application. Their challenge was to build an iOS and Android app that would allow residents to RSVP for events, submit maintenance requests, and manage rent payments, ensuring all residents were included from the launch. They partnered with the vendor Very for mobile app development and product design.

Very implemented the solution by conducting a Technical Design Sprint to define needs before building a cross-platform app using React Native and a Ruby on Rails backend. They integrated with several APIs to deliver core features quickly, launching the product for both platforms in just 12 weeks. The result was a strong technological foundation for the Treehouse community as it prepared to open.
