Case Study: Streamline achieves an 80% reduction in PCI compliance costs and removes sensitive-data risk with Very Good Security

A Very Good Security Case Study

Preview of the Streamline Case Study

Streamline using VGS to differentiate itself and remove risk from its business

Streamline is a leading provider of vacation rental software that handles billions of dollars in customer financial transactions, so PCI compliance and data security are core business priorities. To remove risk and differentiate on security, Streamline partnered with Very Good Security (VGS) in 2016 and adopted VGS’s Zero Data approach to keep sensitive payment and PII out of its systems.

Very Good Security took on the responsibility for Streamline’s credit card data, provided APIs and encryption for new POS chip readers, and helped shrink Streamline’s compliance scope. As a result, Streamline estimates an ~80% reduction in the annual cost to achieve and maintain PCI compliance (saving a six‑figure amount) while materially removing the “bet‑the‑company” breach risk and allowing the team to focus on product development.
