GLOBAL DISCOUNT SUPERMARKET CHAIN re-launched its own branded line of baby products in 2016 and needed to build awareness among moms across twenty key markets. The retailer engaged Verve to run mobile campaigns leveraging location intelligence and audience/app signals to reach price-sensitive shoppers and new or expecting mothers.
Verve implemented three tactics—audience targeting to find value-conscious moms, app targeting to reach users of baby-related apps, and geo‑conquesting around retailers—paired with animated and expandable swipeable banners that redirected consumers to the retailer’s site. The campaign delivered nearly a 14% store‑visit lift, over 10,000 store visits (~$5.50 cost per store visit), greater than 5% secondary CTR and more than 20 seconds average time spent in the ad, with all tactics producing positive lift in engagement and incremental store visitation.
