Mid-Size Sedan, an American auto manufacturer, wanted to build awareness for its 2016 mid-size sedan amid declining category sales and strong competition. Working with Verve Group, the brand needed to reach in-market shoppers on mobile and capture attention as consumers researched competing vehicles in key markets.

Verve Group built custom intender audiences using location and audience data, then delivered ads near competitors’ dealerships with expandable mobile creative tied to the brand’s TV and social video. The campaign produced a click-through rate double the benchmark, a post-secondary click-to-landing-page rate above 6.0% and more than 3x benchmark, and over 20 seconds of average time spent in-ad, with more than 50% of viewers watching the video to completion.
