Global CPG Manufacturing Company wanted to test how the timing of mobile coupon delivery affected product consideration and sales while shoppers were already in-store. The company partnered with Verve Group and used Verve Beacons in several hundred retail locations to trigger messages and coupons near store entrances and product displays.

Verve Group implemented beacon-based in-store messaging with a couponing app that delivered “don’t forget to buy” prompts at entry and brand messages or money-saving coupons in the aisle. The results showed shoppers reached the aisle sooner and stayed longer, and in-aisle messaging drove a 200% to 300% lift in sales.
