UC Health, a regional healthcare system, needed to improve the reliability and responsiveness of its critical IT equipment after relying on a hodge-podge of monitoring tools and manual notifications. To consolidate monitoring into a single view and get real-time alerts, UC Health selected Vertiv’s Environet DCIM solution to monitor 75 devices across their data center.

Vertiv implemented Environet with planning, installation and training, centralizing alarms, automating notifications and enabling staff to drill down to the specific equipment that triggered an alert. The Vertiv Environet deployment reduced human error, cut unnecessary dispatches, improved response times and operational efficiency, delivered measurable cost savings, and is being considered for rollout to additional UC Health sites.
