Top Data Center Provider in Asia Selects Vertiv UPS in Malaysia Expansion

Top Data Center Provider, a leading colocation operator in Asia expanding its Cyberjaya, Malaysia facility, needed compact, high‑density uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems to keep its mission‑critical thermal systems (chilled‑water pumps and fan walls) running during outages while minimizing space, cost and maintenance. The customer selected Vertiv and its Liebert® EXM2 100kVA UPS to meet these requirements.

Vertiv deployed six 100kVA Liebert EXM2 units, delivering up to 98.8% efficiency, a 15% smaller footprint versus legacy systems, and scalable paralleling up to 1.5MW with full‑front service access to reduce MTTR. As a result, Vertiv’s solution improved operational reliability and adaptability, cut cooling demand and costs (by supporting higher ambient operation), delivered roughly 2% better efficiency versus comparable UPS options, and reduced CAPEX/OPEX while freeing floor space for revenue‑generating equipment.
