Noriker Power, a fast‑growing West Midlands company that provides balancing services to the UK National Grid, needed reliable, rapid‑response energy storage and control to join Frequency Response Services (including Fast Frequency Response Dynamic) and help stabilize grid frequency as renewable generation reduced system inertia. Vertiv delivered a turnkey solution combining Liebert EXL GS inverters with both VRLA and lithium‑ion batteries, integrated generators to manage asymmetric site power, and 24/7 Vertiv LIFE remote monitoring. The installation delivers 20 MW of Fast Frequency Response Dynamic power at 33 kV 50 Hz to the UK National Grid, provides consistent power during peak frequency events, stores energy during low demand, corrects power factor and harmonics, and improves uptime through continuous Vertiv monitoring.
