Modernized Data Center Helps Asia-Pacific Bank Meet Customer Demand for Digital Services

Asia-Pacific Bank faced rapidly growing digital transaction volumes and needed to modernize its centralized data center to support higher-density compute and storage, 24/7 availability, and consolidation from a third‑party colocation facility. To tackle visibility, power distribution, cooling and branch standardization, the bank partnered with Vertiv and selected solutions including Vertiv DCIM, Liebert SPM and Geist rack PDUs, Vertiv rack enclosures, Vertiv SmartRow, and Vertiv battery monitoring equipment.

Vertiv delivered a phased deployment — enterprise DCIM for end‑to‑end power visibility, 16 Liebert SPM PDUs and 300+ rack PDUs, 250+ Knürr racks, Albér battery monitoring and SmartRow modular branch units — enabling flexible power distribution, improved remote monitoring and standardized edge infrastructure. As a result, Vertiv helped the bank lower energy use and boost uptime, achieve a PUE of 1.7, and realize hundreds of thousands of dollars in annual energy cost savings while providing a scalable, future‑proof platform.
