MEEZA Modular Hyperscale Data Centre Solution Brings Cloud-Based Applications to the Middle East

MEEZA, Qatar’s digital and IT management services pioneer, needed to rapidly expand its data centre capacity to support important cloud-based applications and meet hyperscale requirements in a very tight 14-month timeline during a global pandemic. The challenge included limited site footprint, scalability needs, delivery speed, and the need for local expertise.

Vertiv provided a modular, hyperscale-ready solution using Vertiv™ Liebert® EXL S1 UPS systems, prefabricated modules, and Vertiv™ Liebert® PDX dual fluid thermal management units. The result was 4.9 MW of data centre capacity deployed in just 14 months, creating Qatar’s largest hyperscaler-compliant data centre and enabling MEEZA to scale efficiently for future growth.
