Leading Wireless Service Providing Company faced an urgent challenge: weeks before Super Bowl XLVII the Mercedes‑Benz Superdome’s in‑building cellular network had to be upgraded to support thousands of mobile users. The customer worked with Vertiv to power a Distributed Antenna System (DAS), using NetSure™ DC power equipment and Vertiv™ XTE™ enclosures to meet the tight timeline and reliability requirements.

Vertiv rapidly deployed on‑site headends with NetSure 721 DC power systems, multiple battery strings and Vertiv XTE enclosures to drive the DAS, delivering high capacity, high throughput and reduced latency. The Vertiv solution enabled more than 70,000 fans to communicate in real time—creating two of the most‑tweeted moments in history—and its modular NetSure infrastructure provided a simple path to future upgrades by adding breakers and rectifiers.
