Leading Provider of ICT and Business Continuity Solution Company, a New Zealand ICT and business continuity specialist servicing more than 2,200 customers across seven data centres, was facing an aging Auckland colocation facility that could no longer meet growing workloads. Capacity and cooling failures were causing regular outages, rising costs and wasted energy—so the customer engaged Vertiv to address the problem using its Liebert PEX cooling solution.

Vertiv deployed the Liebert PEX thermal management system (installed with distributor support) to better use cool air and filter out hot air without disrupting customer data. The upgrade eliminated outages, boosted usable capacity and service levels, cut power bills by about 50%, and supported the customer’s drive toward 100% renewable energy—avoiding the multi‑million dollar cost and disruption of building a new data centre.
