Large Non-Profit Academic Medical Center - Customer Case Study

Large Non-Profit Academic Medical Center expanded its main campus in Weston, Florida with a new 221,000‑sq‑ft hospital tower that includes a 2,500‑sq‑ft data center and nine network closets. To ensure 24/7 availability of clinical systems for high‑acuity patients and protect equipment from heat, humidity and power issues, the Large Non‑Profit Academic Medical Center turned to long‑time partner Vertiv for reliable, efficient power and precision cooling solutions.

Vertiv implemented a centralized power architecture anchored by a Liebert® NX three‑phase UPS, precision cooling using Liebert® CRV units, Liebert Mini‑Mates and Liebert DataMate for the closets, and remote monitoring via the Vertiv SiteScan® Web System. The solution improved reliability and protection for critical IT, increased efficiency and flexible distribution, provided continuous remote monitoring, and validated compliance to pass AHCA inspection—avoiding project delays and giving staff greater confidence in system availability.
