Isaac Regional Council, which supports 19 towns across 58,870.2 km2 and about 300 IT users serving 22,000 customers, faced a full, aging primary data centre that could not meet growing capacity and reliability needs. Vertiv delivered a prebuilt standalone data centre (complete with racks, CRV 35 kW units, ASCO® switch, TVSS, PDUs, generators, Trellis Express monitoring and fire suppression), shipped and commissioned on site within days and handed over four months from order. The Vertiv solution cut downtime from system outages by around 40%, provided remote monitoring and backup power, enabled future growth and greater business continuity, and led the Council to choose Vertiv again for its disaster recovery site.
