Forno Bonomi Bakery, a historic Verona-based food producer that makes about 90 tons of finished product daily, was struggling with frequent micro interruptions on its fully automated production lines that threatened 24/7 warehousing, caused downtime and product waste. To guarantee constant electrical supply and protect its high-density production environment, Forno Bonomi turned to Vertiv and evaluated Vertiv’s UPS and monitoring offerings.

Vertiv installed two UPS Liebert Trinergy Cube 1200 kW units, one Liebert GXT4 6000 VA, one Liebert NXC 10 kVA and Vertiv LIFE Services remote diagnostics and preventive monitoring. The combined solution delivered reliable, continuous power, higher availability and improved energy efficiency (Liebert NXC achieves up to 96% double-conversion efficiency and 99% in ECO mode), reduced energy consumption and CO2, minimized micro interruptions and lowered total cost of ownership and maintenance. Forno Bonomi also signed a Vertiv service agreement for proactive maintenance, securing measurable improvements in production continuity and operational resilience.
