Expedient, a multi-market cloud and IaaS provider, needed highly available, scalable power and cooling for its new Tier III+ Dublin, Ohio data center to meet strict SLAs and support rapid growth. To ensure concurrently maintainable dual A/B feeds and protection from electrical anomalies, Expedient selected Vertiv solutions, including Liebert NXL UPS, Liebert PPC PDUs, Liebert thermal products and Vertiv services.

Vertiv, working through partner Donwil, deployed two Liebert NXL 800 kVA UPS (with plans for two more), 16 Liebert PPC 225 kVA PDUs, diesel generator backup and Liebert thermal controls and monitoring; the standardized Vertiv architecture was installed, tested and commissioned on schedule with no service interruptions. The result: reliable, repeatable power performance across Expedient’s facilities, optimized space and faster phased expansion (phase one: 29,000 sq ft and 575 cabinets), and the ability to scale capacity quickly while meeting aggressive timelines—all enabled by Vertiv technologies and support.
