Electric Utility Company, responsible for thousands of substations, faced costly, labor‑intensive NERC PRC‑005 battery maintenance and reporting that required frequent on‑site inspections. Vertiv’s Albér UXIME and ELS2 enabled centralized remote monitoring of battery internal resistance, string voltages and electrolyte levels, drastically reducing truck rolls and on‑site testing, improving the accuracy of NERC PRC‑005 reporting, and lowering the risk of fines and reputational damage.
