Cosentry, a resiliency and data center services provider operating six regional facilities across Nebraska, Missouri and South Dakota, faced inefficient, error-prone “sneaker report” meter readings and needed an integrated environmental monitoring, billing and SLA-tracking solution with customizable, easy-to-use views. To solve this, Cosentry selected Vertiv’s Environet DCIM system (with support from the Geist™ DCIM team) to replace manual processes and consolidate monitoring across sites.

Vertiv implemented a customized Environet deployment that gathers live per-circuit data, automates customer billing and SLA reports, and sends immediate alarm notifications; the system now monitors over 65,500 points and more than 240 devices. The result for Cosentry was elimination of manual readings, higher measurement accuracy, faster response to alarms, automated reporting and more efficient staff use of time — delivering measurable improvements in billing automation and operational confidence.
