Automotive Parts Headquarters, Inc., a family‑owned distributor operating a central distribution center and more than 100 Auto Value stores, faced unreliable power from an aging UPS that threatened timely deliveries and order processing during frequent Upper Midwest storms. To protect its supply‑chain automation and IT systems, Automotive Parts Headquarters partnered with Vertiv and selected a Liebert® eXM™ Uninterruptible Power Supply with internal batteries and an optimized slim maintenance bypass.

Vertiv (working with local partner Data Center Systems Inc.) installed a 10 kVA Liebert eXM with Unity Intellislot communications, seamless generator synchronization, extended battery run time and remote monitoring options. The Vertiv solution increased IT availability and uptime, eliminated excessive UPS heat (reducing cooling and utility costs), saved floor space, lowered operating and service costs, and provided rebate value on the retired unit—delivering more reliable, efficient power protection for APH.
