5NINES, the owner of Northern Ireland’s largest colocation data center, needed a reliable, flexible power distribution network during the first construction phase of its 45,000 sq. ft. Tier III facility. Space constraints and the requirement for extensive tenant metering for billing and capacity management made selecting the right partner critical — 5NINES worked with Vertiv (via E+I Engineering, a Vertiv company) to specify power distribution and monitoring products including the Vertiv Powerbar iMPB.

Vertiv delivered a full MV-to-LV power distribution and energy management solution using Cast Resin Powerbar, High Powerbar (4,000 and 1,600 A) and the Vertiv Powerbar iMPB with hot‑swappable tap‑off boxes and MID‑approved metering. Working with Vertiv as the single supplier enabled a day‑one power distribution deployment within a four‑month timeline, reduced footprint through back‑to‑back LV switchgear and copper bending, allowed rack reconfiguration without planned downtime, and provided accurate billing and client‑specific reporting.
