AmeriPride Services is a 125+-year-old family-owned uniform rental and linen supply company with 115 centers serving nearly 150,000 customers weekly across the U.S. and Canada. To support growth and standardize operations, AmeriPride needed to centralize and integrate disparate data from multiple business segments, but its legacy data warehouse made aggregation and access slow and unreliable—some processes took as long as 36 hours.

AmeriPride implemented the Vertica Analytics Platform with Tableau and Informatica, running a proof of concept that cut a key process from 36 hours to 17 minutes and provided scalable, cost-effective query performance. The platform enabled 15–20+ data touchpoints, mobile tools for customer-facing staff, and proactive analytics that improved route efficiency, safety, environmental savings, workforce optimization and margins—while laying the groundwork for RFID, telematics and live-feed integrations.
