Vertex implemented its tax engine across Siemens’ landscape—moving 7 SAP systems in under six months, migrating 3.5 million tax exemption certificates, setting up a use tax accrual program and later transitioning Oracle—delivering more staff capacity, increased accuracy on consumer use tax filings and customer billing (improving satisfaction), and visibility into savings down to the penny through a custom Vertex report.
