CONA Services, the IT platform for the North American Coca‑Cola bottling business, faced a need to ensure consistent tax rules and rates across all bottlers. To solve this, CONA Services partnered with Vertex, using Vertex’s tax solution integrated with SAP to centralize and standardize tax determination across the organization.

Vertex’s SAP integration allowed CONA Services to send detailed data (multiple packaging, units of measure, and taxability drivers) into the Vertex engine, enabling extended tax codes and the recovery of applicable taxes—including beverage and deposit taxes. As a result, Vertex helped CONA Services achieve greater tax accuracy, consistent tax decisions across bottlers, and the confidence to grow and scale.
