Herschel, a leading retailer of bags and accessories, wanted to modernize its product pages and boost shopper consideration and conversions by introducing immersive, app-free 3D and AR product visualizations. To do this, Herschel partnered with Vertebrae to deploy web-based 3D & AR product visualizations that showcase high-quality assets front-and-center on product pages.
Vertebrae implemented instant, in-browser 3D image manipulation and AR experiences on Herschel’s product pages, enabling shoppers to view products in context without downloading an app. The impact was substantial: among shoppers who engaged the 3D/AR experience Herschel saw a 153% conversion lift and a 152% revenue-per-visit lift, and overall (including non-engaged shoppers) Herschel achieved a 23% conversion lift and a 23% revenue-per-visit lift.
