FCCI Insurance Group is a regional commercial property and casualty carrier based in Sarasota, Florida, that had built its business over decades but was hampered by paper-based reference materials and a slow, error-prone publishing process. Employees and agent partners relied on massive binders and long Excel spreadsheets for rates, rules and forms, creating inefficiencies, missed updates and frequent calls to headquarters for current information.

FCCI implemented Vertafore’s ReferenceConnect and its Web Publishing tool so subject matter experts could publish and update content directly, customize carrier-specific deviations, and give employees and agencies one centralized, searchable source. The change sped access to accurate information for ~500 users, reduced publishing errors, improved speed to market, and eliminated a full-time publishing role that was redeployed to more strategic work.
