DUAL Group wins Model Insurer award with MGA Systems

DUAL Group, an international MGA operating across New Zealand and Australia, needed a modern core management system to streamline policy management, financial activities, claims, quoting, binding, and rating for its broker and underwriting teams. With Vertafore’s MGA Systems, the company sought a more efficient platform to support growth, reduce manual work, and handle increasing business volumes.

Vertafore implemented MGA Systems to help DUAL Group migrate legacy data, modernize operations, and improve scalability. In Australia, 60,000 legacy policies were moved into renewals within a few months, and the platform grew to more than 200,000 policies by 2023. The system also supported a peak month with over 20,000 independent transactions. As a result, DUAL Group increased underwriter-free processing of renewals and new business quotes to 90–92%, up from 55%, while manual review fell from 45% to just 10%.
