Bankers Fidelity takes a no pain, all gain approach to move from paper to automation

Bankers Fidelity Life Insurance Company, a Georgia-based carrier founded in 1955 that now serves the senior market across 46 states with more than 2,000 producers, faced growing complexity from paper-based, state-specific agent appointment and licensing processes. As the company expanded, manual workflows became time-consuming and risky for compliance, limiting growth without adding staff.

Working with Vertafore, Bankers Fidelity implemented a phased rollout of the Sircon platform—including Compliance Express, Producer Manager, Bulk Transactions, outbound data feeds, web services and ImageRight—automating appointments, renewals and terminations and keeping internal records synchronized with state data. The incremental approach avoided disruption while boosting accuracy and timeliness, saving about 40 hours a month, enabling expansion without new hires and strengthening compliance (contributing to an A‑minus from A.M. Best).
