Riese & Müller, a German premium e-bike manufacturer, aimed to become the industry's most sustainable company but faced the complex challenge of achieving transparency across its global supply chain. To meet regulatory requirements and support its suppliers' sustainable development, the company sought a solution to move beyond inefficient manual methods like Excel spreadsheets. VERSO implemented its Supply Chain Hub, starting with a pilot project involving 16 key suppliers. The platform's Maturity Assessment allowed for efficient supplier self-evaluations. Following the successful pilot, the rollout was expanded to over 70 direct suppliers and 60 deeper-tier suppliers. Using VERSO, Riese & Müller achieved transparency down to the second and third tiers for critical raw materials within six months, enabling comprehensive risk analysis, streamlined CSR reporting, and continuous improvement of its supplier base.
