DAT publishes first DNK sustainability report and carbon footprint for 2022–2023 with VERSO

Deutsche Automobil Treuhand GmbH (DAT), a neutral data authority for the automotive industry, sought to integrate sustainability into its core business. Its challenge was to create its first voluntary sustainability report and carbon footprint assessment to establish a baseline and prepare for future CSRD compliance, requiring efficient processes and a centralized data collection system. DAT chose VERSO for this comprehensive sustainability management project.

Supported by VERSO consultants, DAT used the ESG Hub to collect all relevant data and create its report, and the Climate Hub to generate a carbon footprint across all three scopes per the GHG Protocol. This provided a single source of truth for its data. As a result, DAT successfully published its first DNK report and gained a comprehensive overview of its GHG emissions, enabling it to track its decarbonization strategy. VERSO's integrated platform also allowed for direct CO₂ offsetting through its partner, ClimateGrid. The time and cost savings from VERSO's AI-supported Double Materiality Analysis tool further convinced DAT's team for their upcoming CSRD reporting.
