Optimus Cards, a financial services firm and Principal Member of Mastercard, partnered with Version 1 for an AWS Next-Gen Managed Service. Their challenge involved an outdated cloud infrastructure, including unsupported Amazon RDS instances, older M3 instance types, and an expired MQ cluster running on an out-of-support operating system, which required urgent upgrades to ensure stability and support.

Version 1 successfully implemented the necessary upgrades by moving the customer to newer Amazon RDS instances, upgrading the instance types to M5, and performing an operating system upgrade from Red Hat Linux Enterprise 6 to version 8. These actions ensured all systems were brought back into support with updated drivers.
