Musgrave Group, a major Irish food retail and wholesale company, faced the challenge of replacing its 20-year-old legacy COBOL invoicing systems. These undocumented systems were critical to its multi-billion-euro operations and relied on a small team with specific knowledge. Version 1 was engaged to modernize this core process with an Azure Cloud-based solution.

Version 1 delivered the Musgrave Processing Hub, a modern solution hosted on Azure Service Fabric. It integrated with on-prem systems via Azure Data Factory and provided a secure web portal for internal staff and retail partners to access invoices and reports. This eliminated reliance on the legacy system, reduced invoice-related support calls, and gave retailers access to invoices 24 hours sooner. The project was delivered in phases over 58 sprints, ensuring a seamless transition with no business disruption.
