Case Study: a major supermarket boosts online spend with Version 1

A Version 1 Case Study

Major Supermarket boosts online spend by £1.22 per order with Version 1

The client, a major supermarket, required technological modernization for its eCommerce platform to decrease overheads and increase revenue. Version 1 was engaged to help migrate the platform off-premise and architect an Integration Platform using Amazon Web Services (AWS) to address these challenges.

Version 1 implemented a CI/CD platform using Jenkins and Bitbucket to automate processes and enable more frequent releases. This solution integrated test-automation with Selenium Grid and AWS to allow resources to dynamically auto-scale. Following the launch, the supermarket's system could handle vast visitor numbers without slowing down, resulting in significant cost savings. Version 1 delivered a measurable impact, with each online customer now spending an average of £1.22 more per purchase.
