Swedish Export Credit Corporation - Customer Case Study

Swedish Export Credit Corporation (SEK), a state-owned Swedish export finance institution, wanted to use employee badges for both physical and logical access while maintaining very high security for sensitive assets. To support this, SEK worked with Versasec and used its vSEC:CMS platform to manage smart card credentials and improve the flexibility of IT services for employees.

Versasec implemented a PKI secured with vSEC:ID Server Key and then deployed a smart card program using Gemalto.NET cards managed by vSEC:CMS T-Series. The result was a successful, expanding smart card rollout that simplified processes and enabled SEK’s IT team to service employees efficiently both remotely and locally.
