Carrier Enterprise, a Watsco subsidiary and one of the largest HVAC distributors with over 1,600 employees and 150+ locations, faced a highly manual accounts receivable and credit/collections function. The team relied on four separate systems, tied up a third of its 160‑person finance organization, sent many customers static PDF invoices, and handled a majority of handwritten check payments—leaving cash application teams manually processing up to 80% of checks and customers forced to call for account details.

To fix this, CE implemented VersaPay ARC®, a cloud invoice-to-cash platform that consolidated systems, automated presentment, collections, payments and cash application, and added a self-service portal.
