WorkNC Opens Doors for Collet Amblard

Collet Amblard, a French manufacturer of precision machine components and pre-assembled units for nuclear and hydraulic markets, struggled with complex geometries and exotic materials that its previous CAM system could no longer handle. The company turned to WorkNC from Vero Software to program parts that were previously impossible to machine and to meet the requirements of new customers and markets.

With WorkNC from Vero Software, Collet Amblard streamlined 3D shopfloor programming, roughing, finishing, and toolpath optimization across its machining centers, while improving independence and reactivity on the shop floor. The results were significant: 3D programming time dropped by a factor of four, from a full morning to about 30 minutes, and the company can now machine highly complex parts with reliable collision-managed toolpaths.
