A Vero Software Case Study
Ketos, a 10‑person manufacturer in Savoie that produces foils and accessories for the gliding and sailing industries, needed a faster, more accurate way to turn complex SolidWorks designs into one‑off prototypes and small series (up to 30 parts). Until recently they relied on manual model making, which limited responsiveness and made it hard to rapidly test new profiles while keeping costs and quality under control.
By implementing WorkNC CAM to drive their Raptor 2.5‑axis CNC, Ketos now converts CAD to CAM seamlessly, re‑uses machining sequences from a library, and runs in‑house production with greater automation. The result: a rapid payback, 2.5× faster turnaround, highly accurate moulds that match the original designs, and better control of the complete design‑to‑production cycle at a reasonable cost.
