Atscott Manufacturing Company is a 40‑year‑old Pine City, MN contract manufacturer of machined and assembled metal and plastic products—serving industries from consumer goods to aerospace. Faced with hundreds of different open jobs, small lot sizes, tight tolerances and the need for rapid turnaround, Atscott needed a flexible, efficient way to program complex parts and maintain high accuracy across many setups.

Atscott implemented Edgecam CAM to leverage seamless CAD import, customizable posts, simulation/verification and adaptable automation modes. The result: fewer setups and reduced cycle times, improved dimensional accuracy, and much higher shop efficiency—so much so that one operator can handle about 90% of new orders and programmers now spend fewer hours on the shop floor.
