Scherr’s Cabinet and Doors, Inc. is a family-owned, 40+-year custom cabinetry and door manufacturer in Minot, ND, serving primarily residential customers. As the business grew and added CNC capability, the shop faced time-consuming handwork, inconsistent job details and the need for better material management and standardized production practices.

In 2015 Scherr’s implemented Cabinet Vision, using its library objects, part intelligence and User Created Standards to automate CNC programming, reuse designs and enforce construction preferences. The change eliminated repetitive tasks, improved accuracy of materials and cutlists, increased efficiency and helped the company maintain high-quality, consistent craftsmanship.
