Tharsus is a Northumberland-based Original Equipment and Design Manufacturer that turns inventors’ IP into market-ready products and manages full-lifecycle manufacture. Faced with hundreds of sheet-metal parts that vary in material and thickness, the company needed to speed up programming and production, reduce costly flat-pattern errors and machine changeover times, and improve nesting and material utilisation.

Tharsus implemented Radan CAD/CAM (Project, Radpunch, Radprofile, Radbend and Radan 3D) into a DXF-driven workflow from Autodesk Inventor, centralising parts and automating nesting, quantities and machine outputs. The result: shorter lead times and programming cycles, better sheet utilisation, reduced waste and combined machine changeovers, faster setups and runs—and a more efficient, cost-effective manufacturing operation that supports repeat orders and ongoing product development.
