A Vero Software Case Study
Meindl-Köhle Umform- und Systemtechnik is a long-established Bavarian tool-maker (founded 1928) that manufactures highly complex progressive stamping dies and milled sheet-metal parts from prototype to serial production. Facing high customer expectations for consistent tolerances, fast turnarounds and seamless production workflows, the company needed an industry-focused CAD/CAM solution to manage sheet-metal spring-back, support 4– and 5-axis machining, and ensure error-free data exchange across design and shopfloor teams.
They adopted VISI from Vero Software (including VISI Blank, Advanced Modelling, Progress and Machining 5-axis) to run a single CAD-to-CAM workflow on a network license. VISI lets them simulate and FEM-flatten parts in quoting, compensate spring-back in advance, generate 3D strip layouts and automatic GA drawings, and produce NC toolpaths for flexible deployment across machines. The result is consistent CAD/CAM data, faster, more reliable quoting and design validation, improved responsiveness to customer requests, and the ability to deliver complete in-house solutions from prototype to serial production.
