Crossen Engineering Ltd is a Belfast-based injection moulding specialist operating from a 22,000 sq ft facility with 32 staff, producing everything from aluminium prototype moulds to fully hardened hot-runner tools for customers in automotive, aerospace, medical, construction and consumer goods. Faced with tight lead times, high-volume production demands and complex parts (from ballot boxes to Porsche interiors and medical mannequins), Crossen needed a reliable way to design tools quickly, validate mould performance before cutting metal, and avoid costly rework.

They design all moulds and press tools in VISI CAD/CAM and use VISI Flow for preventative simulation, then manufacture on 3‑ and 5‑axis CNCs and high-speed machining centres.
