Caliberg, founded in 1959 in Bergamo, Italy, is a specialist mould maker producing high-precision plastic components for aerosols, medical devices and disposable shavers. To meet growing demand for complex multi-cavity and multi-material moulds with extremely tight tolerances (±0.005 mm), the company needed advanced CAD/CAM tools to expand its design, engineering and production capabilities.

Caliberg deployed Vero Software’s VISI suite (Mould, Wire and Machining 3D) across five workstations to design and manufacture sophisticated moulds, including a patented pneumatic/electronic valve mould that moulds and assembles two parts simultaneously. The investment improved precision and throughput, earned industry recognition (Eurostampi’s “Mould of the Year”), and reinforced Caliberg’s reputation for delivering innovative, high-precision multi-component solutions.
