A Vero Software Case Study
Hetherington Newman, a bespoke furniture and architectural joinery maker, needed a way to sell highly individual room designs and ensure those unique, survey‑based specifications were reproduced accurately in their Derbyshire workshop. The challenge was presenting realistic, detailed proposals for varied appliances, materials and custom door styles while avoiding time‑consuming manual checking and the cost of extra staff.
They adopted Cabinet Vision’s 2D drawing page and Screen‑to‑Machine workflow to produce detailed drawings, custom symbols and door styles, annotated assembly sheets, automated cutlists and nesting, and direct CNC output. As a result customers see realistic designs, the workshop produces parts accurately first time with far fewer manual checks, CNC setup is faster, and the company avoided hiring roughly three additional staff.
