A Vero Software Case Study
Langstaff‑Ellis is a high‑end full design-and-manufacture house creating bespoke interiors—kitchens, wine rooms, libraries and dressing rooms—for private and commercial clients. After investing in CNC machinery, the company found programming each pattern and producing technical drawings and CNC files for large projects was taking days, consuming labour and risking human error.
By importing SketchUp models into Cabinet Vision, Langstaff‑Ellis now auto‑generates component lists and CNC files (flat panels, carcases, internal components, drawer boxes and worktops) and uses Screen‑to‑Machine to send NC code to its machines. The result: technical drawings are produced in half the time, technical design costs have fallen significantly, CNC output is faster and more accurate, and the workflow supports new services like bespoke flat‑pack manufacturing.
