A Vero Software Case Study
TC Contact s.r.o., a Slovak engineering subcontractor that supplies bespoke machinery and technological complexes to the automotive, electrical and banking sectors, faced parts that outgrew classic 3-axis machining. The design team needed reliable import and editing of external models, efficient 2D/3D CAD and dependable NC programming to produce one-off, highly complex components.
By installing VISI (modelling, 3D machining, adaptive roughing and wire erosion), adding two 5‑axis machining centres and using custom postprocessors and kinematic simulation, TC Contact moved to positional (3+2) and continuous 5‑axis strategies. The outcome was expanded production capability, faster high‑precision machining with fewer setups, improved surface finishes, elimination of time‑consuming manual data entry and collision‑checked, reliable NC programs.
