Palo Alto Fit, a rapidly growing multi-location gym in the San Francisco Bay Area, needed a scalable, low-bandwidth video security solution with reliable iOS/Android mobile access and simple multi-site management. After evaluating traditional vendors, Palo Alto Fit selected Verkada, deploying Verkada D30 indoor and D50 outdoor cameras plus Verkada’s Hybrid Cloud and Command mobile web app to meet their remote-access and growth requirements.

Verkada installed 12 D30 and 4 D50 cameras across two locations with on‑camera storage and cloud management—no NVRs, VPNs, or firewall reconfiguration—enabling Broadcast Mode for live peak-time viewing and secure 24/7 access from any device. The system averaged ~20 kbit/s per camera, preserving network bandwidth for POS and guest Wi‑Fi, let managers monitor build-outs and find missing equipment within minutes, and allowed Palo Alto Fit to manage multiple sites from a single Verkada account as they expand.
