Using Verizon Connect Reveal, a near-real-time fleet management platform, integrated with SnowPaths, Mason County Road Commission gained live vehicle tracking, route and plowing status dashboards, and a public portal showing which roads had been plowed in the last two to four hours, four to six hours, or not at all. The solution improved dispatching, driver safety, and communication with residents, while also providing proof of service and better visibility across the fleet. Verizon Connect’s tools helped the commission answer calls faster, locate stranded drivers, and keep the public updated throughout snow events.
