Larry’s Limos, a chauffeur and executive transport company serving greater Birmingham, AL, needed real-time visibility into driver locations and better fleet oversight to improve customer wait times, driver accountability, vehicle safety and maintenance for its seven vehicles. As a result, Larry’s Limos reduced customer wait times by dispatching the closest driver, cut fuel costs by eliminating unauthorized driving and excessive idling, improved driver accountability and safety, and even recovered a stolen vehicle (losing only about $20 in gas); reports also provide ignition on/off, idling, drive time, distance and out-of-state mileage for ongoing maintenance.
