Di-tech International Uses Verizon Connect Gps Fleet Tracking to Improve Dispatching and Boost Productivity

Di-Tech International, a Winnipeg-based leader in construction and demolition services, faced inefficient dispatching and routing because dispatchers had no real-time view of where drivers were located and relied on cell phones, which drove up costs and created unsafe situations. To address this, Di-Tech International installed the Verizon Connect GPS fleet tracking solution across its 16 vehicles to gain live vehicle visibility and better coordinate crews.

Verizon Connect provided a Live Map (with Google Maps API and traffic data) plus a “find nearest” feature and real-time tracking, enabling dispatchers to send the closest crews, locate equipment, and give accurate arrival times. As a result, Di-Tech improved customer service and response times, increased employee productivity by reducing unauthorized side trips and time between jobs, and gained greater operational efficiency and peace of mind thanks to Verizon Connect.
